People are beginning to realize that we create our physical realities based on our unique personal internal beliefs about reality. We can consciously work with our specific beliefs in order to create a new life. This means that our own words, thoughts, and emotions are the template of our future. It also means we are consciously co-creating reality to the degree we are aware of what is continuously happening within and around us. We are always creating something whether we are conscious of the mechanism or not. We can enrich the quality of what we manifest by being more Self-conscious. This requires greater awareness, and that comes from honestly seeing ourselves.

A useful way to focus on yourself is to look at your own inner balance. This is the balance between ‘inner feminine’ and ‘inner masculine.’ The masculine-feminine relationship has been discussed in all societies, religions, and cultures since the beginning of humanity. There is an intrinsic difference between what is masculine and feminine. By understanding those differences and appreciating the strengths of both, we can consciously use our inner masculine-feminine balance to be more effective in the physical world. Analyzing your masculine-feminine interplay helps you to take conscious steps to effectively balance your unique masculine and feminine qualities.

Humans love to mentally examine all things using three-dimensional physical logic. This helps the mind formulate new options and new actions. However, the actual answers more often come from the void, some place beyond definition. This book attempts to look at the mechanisms of the alliance between the masculine and feminine energies inside you and how these mechanisms affect your experience of life. Changes in manifestation begin by changing awareness of yourself and all that surrounds you. It is empowering to be able to mindfully see your own patterns and make new choices to act more consciously.

There is also value in looking at the external situation, your marriage or your love relationship, as a guide for better understanding of self. The principle of ‘mirror-like wisdom’ uses your love relationship to guide you to improve yourself. Your lover is always reflecting back to you some aspect of your own unseen self. Your lover can be your perfect teacher, if you are humble enough to learn from your lessons and wise enough to remain compassionate. It is challenging to begin the process of looking at your self. However, once you live from such an ongoing awareness, life gets much easier. As you become more fully conscious of your masculine and feminine aspects, you see how that balance changes in response to your daily challenges. It is all about being a better observer of yourself and acting more consciously.

More commonly, people project their pain on others. They blame their lovers and others for parts of themselves that have not yet healed. It seems easier to look beyond self for causes and answers. People often say, “If the world would change, then I would be safe.” No. We must change ourselves and then our projected physical reality will change. By taking conscious steps to understand ourselves, we make better choices. This heals sub-conscious and unconscious places that have been invisibly controlling our physical manifestation. What we do not know about ourselves (sub-consciously and unconsciously) is what we are unconsciously bringing into manifestation in our lives. This includes our experience of our relationships, love, money, and the problems that we are so quick to blame on others.

For our happiness and highest good, our personal plans must be aligned with Source intention. (‘Source’ is the word I like best to describe the All, the Divine, God, or whatever word you might use to denote Higher Power.) Otherwise, the object of our intention will be affected by our sub-conscious or unconscious beliefs, and will not manifest. It is critical that each soul has a way of knowing Source. There needs to be a way of validating our actions to see if they are in proper alignment. It is a challenge to look at yourself in a non-biased way. To know the world and to be able to function lovingly within it, we must first know self. That knowing combined with passionate desire is what brings clear manifestation into physical reality.
